Context

Following our recent successful interaction with a cross-section of Uzbekistan farmers, policymakers and educators, new and practical technologies have been evolving to boost domestic and international food supply chains, overcoming health risks, leading to major shifts in policy and international cooperation incentives. Farmers’ Dialogue in Central Asia is therefore continually dedicated to mobilizing farmers to share solutions and act on the changes needed personally and globally.

About the Conference

Sharing the belief that 'International Partnerships among small and marginal farmers, especially in the post-pandemic era, is central to lifting family farmers out of poverty, tackling unemployment for youth and rural women, and helping the world to achieve food security and the Sustainable Development Goals', the Conference will facilitate academic sessions and extended field visits to rural industries, farming communities, and industries with conference theme sessions involving innovative individuals at Major Educational Establishments institutions within important district locations, of Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, Fergana, Kokand, and Termez (city bordering Afghanistan).

A major highlight of the conference is our official visit to the world- famous Namangan Flower and Agricultural Festival on 24 and 25 May, witnessing spectacular displays of parades, pageants of exotic flowers, fruits, vegetables, Agro- Industry and Post-harvest processing industry products, making it a 'Once-in-a-Lifetime Exposition', both for previoust and new participants!
