Farmers from all continents gathered in March 2025 to exchange ideas on sustainable agriculture and to explore how personal change can help build a healthier future for the next generation.
How can we leave the earth in the best possible condition for our children? – "Do I bother nature?" – How to cope with the needs of more and better food to feed humanity? – Is there a link between the job of a farmer and his/her deep conviction?
These questions laid the groundwork for a week of cross-cultural exchange among 50 farmers (half men and half women) gathered from 1 to 8 March, 2025 at Asia Plateau, an Initiatives of Change (IofC) conference centre in Panchgani, India. Coming from 15 countries and with very different farming realities, they had a rich week of multidimensional conversations around the future of agriculture and their role in it.
