International Farmers' Dialogue – 2016
[1]In December 2014 India hosted a major farmers’ dialogue, jointly in Akola University and in Panchgani. The Agricultural University of Akola has sent an invitation for a further meeting, in order to continue the exchange of experiences on important issues confronting the farmers:
- sustainable agriculture
- place of women-farmers
- threats on livelihood
The meeting will take place in Akola, Indin, in February 2016 and the organizers have invited a specific group of farmers from Eastern Africa. They also hope to stimulate a better teamwork with the Cambodian neighbors.
