‘God doesn’t do waste’
Revd Dave Bookless, co-founder of A Rocha UK, will speak on ‘God doesn’t do waste’ when he addresses a Greencoat Forum in the London centre of Initiatives of Change on Tuesday 21 September. The title of his talk is taken from his new book, published this July. It refers to ecological waste but also the accumulation of life’s experiences and how we as individuals handle them. This follows his earlier book Planetwise, subtitled Dare to care for God’s world .

I attended the first week of the COP15 (Conference of Parties) in Copenhagen with a small international team from Initiatives of Change. I am American, but I split my time between energy efficiency work for the U.S. government and graduate school in London where I am a PhD student at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment.
